Desk
After several years of service the Studiomaster Trilogy 326 (above) is being retired. Its replacement is an Allen&Heath GL2400 424 (below).
This is the 24 channel, 22 mic channel, 2 line level stereo pair model. Each of the stereo pair channels is effectively two pairs, plus a mic channel which can be separately routed, 6 aux, 4 groups etc. A good solid desk, with plenty of inputs, the 6 auxes and 4 subs make it a versatile desk, which should cover most of what we do. However, both the GL2400 and the smaller MixWizard are fitted with Allen&Heath's Syslink V2, which allows the busses on the two desks to be linked, effectively making a bigger desk.

The GL2400 will rarely seen without this rack patched in, all the fx i/o is brought out to a rear mounted patch panel to save having to dig into the back of the rack to find that burred i/p.....

Small Desk
The old Soundcraft Rack Pack 10/2 (above) is being retired, its replacement is an Allen & Heath MixWizard WZ3 14:4:2 (below). With the same mic channel count as the old Soundcraft, but with 2 stereo pairs of inputs that can be routed to either of the groups, or direct to the masters this should suffice for the smaller gig. Like its big brother it has Allen&Heath's Syslink 2 installed, so the two desks can be linked giving us a 32 mic channel desk for the bigger event.
Chameleon 2x300 amplifier

Mounted in a small rack, ideal for small venues requiring only a few mics. Add speakers, cables and stands and it all fits in the back of my car, set is quick, and sounds good.
