Nessie and friends

Nessie, playing near Lake Balla, Wales, mid 1998

Nessie, parked in my brother's farm yard, Christmas 1997.  Showing the dent that I bought along with the blue bodywork, bull bar and set of 4 Hella's that were her attire at this time.  The original home made snorkel had retired due to damage incurred by combat with a tree, the new 'Mantec' snorkel was sitting on the garage floor.

My sister-in-law's new 90, Christmas 1997. Remember all Land Rovers stated as clean little babies once...

Doug, my 'young' brother. He's the person responsible for me owning a Land Rover. Seen here reading the instructions on how to...

Get your Land Rover looking dirty (well actually quite clean in this shot!)

After a day's work on the farm, its off to play in the local stream. We dumped the photographer on a little island, backed off, and......

Well lets say he had a choice of ways of getting his feet wet!

That King in The Scottish Play is not the only one to have trouble with trees. This one sort of srang out and grabbed me on the way past, so I picked it up and carried it off.

Out of the water under the trees something strange emerges.

Having had a bath, let them drain for a few minutes, nice and clean, ready for another day's work.

Doug's 110 doing a Camel Trophy support vehilce impersonation, not for road use of course....

I have this reputation for taking a 110 where a 90 goes, and making it look too easy. In truth it takes a lot of hard work, and hours to get my toes un-crossed!

No one was hurt, and a long struggle got this new 90 was back on its feet.  Only a matter of weeks old the driver 'got it wrong'.  There was minimal body damage, and more importntly no injuries to the occupants, including the kids in the back!

Who needs a road when there is braken like this, and its a 'drive where you like' day?
